Rayna Carruthers

Rayna is a student from Shawlands and an aspiring photographer who spent last summer in Jordan working with a business which employs and trains women from disadvantaged backgrounds. Rayna took portraits of the women that work there which can now be viewed on the walls of MILK for the next month (Feb -March, 2022).

“I see a lot of similarities between the business and the women I am have highlighted in the pictures and your café! I would love to highlight the dignity that work can give people who have previously been denied it.”
