Selina and everyone at Refugweegee work tirelessly to support newly arrived refugees and give them a real Glasgow welcome.
Rumpus Room.
Rumpus Room is a not-for-profit open-access art studio and project made with and for children & young people based in Govanhill.
Merry-Go-Round.
Based just round the corner from the cafe, on Nithsdale Road, Merry-Go-Round is a great social enterprise selling pre-loved baby clothes and providing support and starter packs to new mums and dads in the area.
Bridges Programmes.
Bridges Programmes is where our inspiration came from to set up MILK. They are a brilliant organisation who supports the social, educational and economic integration of refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, and anyone for whom English is a second language, living in Glasgow.
The Well.
The Well Multi-Cultural Resource Centre in Govanhill offer up a great service of support our diverse community.
Big Noise.
We feel very lucky to know the team at Big Noise , they are an asset to Govanhill and we love having them over to the cafe for music sessions, sing alongs and concerts with the kids.
